COVID-19 / FLU & COLD SEASON!
In light over growing concerns over the COVID-19 virus, and a generally tough flu and cold season this year, we'd like you to know what we are doing as an agency. While we cannot create a sterile environment, these are the following efforts and precautions we are taking.
Juniper Mountain has increased our efforts to wipe down common area surfaces (front counter, door handles, etc) with disinfectant several times a day. We are also utilizing a fabric disinfectant on all upholstered furniture.
Do not be offended if your counselor does not offer a handshake or hug that might be typical. This is to attempt to minimize any spread of germs.
If you feel a sneeze or cough coming on, even from an allergy, we ask that you cover your mouth and nose. We do have kleenex available in our waiting room.
Please make sure to thoroughly wash your hands with soap and water after using the restroom (20 seconds is the minimum recommended time). This is considered the most effective way to limit the spread of a virus.
IF YOU ARE FEELING ILL, PLEASE STAY HOME AND REST
If you are not up to attending your counseling session in person, but would still like to speak to your counselor, we can facilitate both phone and Skype counseling sessions. We encourage you to take advantage of this option. Your counselor and our scheduling staff can assist you in this.
